Working with SpeechGuru has been an incredible experience. From the moment I reached out, they responded the same day and secured a contract for me within the week that was both supportive and offered competitive compensation. Violetta, the owner, along with her team, provides timely and consistent communication, valuable feedback, and ongoing support throughout the entire contract and beyond. I had the pleasure of working with Violetta during my Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as part of my Speech-Language Pathology degree. While I didn't work with her on a daily basis, she played a significant role in my experience. Violetta recruited me for a school position, ensuring I was placed in a relevant setting with a fair and competitive salary. She was always approachable, responsive, and supportive, making it easy to communicate with her whenever I had questions or concerns. One of the most valuable aspects of working with Violetta was how she helped me adapt to a school setting, which was new and unfamiliar to me. This challenge pushed me to develop skills I hadn't fully cultivated yet. She also provided invaluable guidance in writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other important reports, which greatly expanded my expertise. As a manager, Violetta was consistently supportive, easy to talk to, and receptive to my needs. She was always there to advocate for me, ensuring I had the tools and resources necessary to succeed. Overall, I am incredibly grateful for her mentorship and guidance throughout my CFY year.

I had a great experience working with SpeechGuru. As an SLP-CF, I felt supported by my supervisor whenever I needed guidance, but I was also given the space to grow and develop my clinical skills. The caseload was reasonable, and I was able to maintain a solid work-life balance without feeling overwhelmed. One of the biggest advantages was avoiding the politics that often come with working directly in a school setting. I was able to focus on providing quality therapy to my students as a new grad without unnecessary stress. My supervisor was very supportive and encouraging of my career aspirations. SpeechGuru made my experience as a contracted SLP both fulfilling and manageable!

SpeechGuru is an excellent company for which to work as a school-based SLP. They work closely with school administrative departments to ensure their SLPs maintain reasonable caseloads and workloads. Unlike many SLP positions, there is no unpaid take-home work. The workday ends with the school day, and you are paid VERY well for your work! Because SpeechGuru has a strong, trustworthy presence in MA, I was provided multiple placement options, making it easy to choose the best fit for my desired caseload age range and schedule availability. SpeechGuru has supportive, caring, and hands-on leadership that can easily be reached when needed. They frequently communicate with the school and check in with you to ensure your placement experience continues to be positive. Their SLP-CF and SLPA supervisors are experienced, knowledgeable, supportive, and eager to guide. I genuinely have no negative things to say about working at SpeechGuru. They make being an SLP enjoyable, easy, and gratifying.
